Hi,
There’s a reflex most of us learned early.
When something feels uncomfortable, we try to fix it.
We look for the insight, the reframe, the adjustment that will make the feeling go away so we can get back to being productive or composed or okay.
But not every feeling is a problem.
Some are just signals that something needs space instead of correction.
Trying to fix yourself every time something feels off can quietly turn into another form of pressure.
Another way of telling yourself you’re only acceptable once you’re smoother, calmer, more resolved.
You don’t have to improve every feeling you notice.
You don’t have to turn every moment into progress.
Sometimes the most honest response is to let the feeling exist without assigning it a task.
Nothing needs to be fixed today.
One thing:
Notice something that feels slightly off and resist the urge to correct it. Let it be there a little longer than usual.
