Patience says: this needs more time. I'm still in it. I'm letting it unfold.
Stalling says: I'm afraid of what happens next. So I'll call this waiting.
The tricky part is that both feel like stillness. Both look like not moving. And from the inside, it can be hard to tell which one you're actually doing.
You don't need to answer that question perfectly. You just need to be honest enough to ask it.
If the stillness feels grounded, trust it. If it feels like hiding, notice that too.
You can honor your pace and still be honest about where fear might be dressed as patience.

Ask yourself about one thing you've been waiting on: is this patience, or is this avoidance wearing a calm face?
